       2 - Measurement

Presentation The Measuring module allows the following measurements to be taken:
                                     • Voltage (RMS measurement of line-to-line voltages and phase voltages in the applicable cases)
                                     • Frequency of the voltages
                                     • Power and energy, also using the phase current measurements.
NOTE: measurement performance is described on page 104 and 107.
If used in conjunction with Ekip Synchrocheck, it is also able to recognize whether the synchronization
conditions between external sockets and external contacts are able to allow the synchronization contact
to close (see chapter dedicated to Ekip Synchrocheck from page 167).

Configurations available The module is connected directly to the internal sockets of the CB.
In the 3P + N configuration, the external neutral voltage (V0) can be connected to the trip unit so as to
measure and protect the residual voltage. Consult circuit diagrams 1SdM000005A1001.

Electrical characteristics The Measurement module works correctly in the electrical conditions described on page 16.

Menu The module parameters are available in the menu Settings - Modules - Ekip Measuring:
                                     Parameter Description Default
Selects the rated voltage value selection mode:

                                                     • Volt: value editable within the range in 1 V steps
Available in the presence of a transformer; defines the
                                                    secondary voltage of the transformer.
Secondary voltage The value is expressed in absolute value (volt) and can be 100 V
set within the 100 V to 230 V range, in steps that depend
on the Un Setting Mode parameter setting.
Defines the power flow required for D protection; there are
                                                    2 options available (page 62):
Positive Power • High → Low: power flows from high terminals to low
flow terminals (load connected low) Bottom → Top
                                                     • Low → High: power flows from low terminals to high
                                                    terminals (load connected high)
Available with 3P CB; allows the presence of the external
Neutral Neutral to be enabled. Absent
connection NOTE: presence of the neutral activates phase
                                                        voltage measurement

When Un Setting Mode is set according to Table the voltage parameters can have the following values:
Parameter Voltage values with adjustment in steps
                                                           100 V, 115 V, 120 V, 190 V, 208 V, 220 V, 230 V, 240 V, 277 V, 347 V, 380 V,
                                     Rated voltage
                                                           400 V, 415 V, 440 V, 480 V, 500 V, 550 V, 600 V, 660 V, 690 V

About The About-Modules menu contains the specific menu of the module with the serial number and version
                                    of the module itself.

Test The dielectric test is described in the Installation instructions 1SdH002011A1001, 1SdH002011A1002.
