Compact Pilot Devices

Pilot devices are primarily used in commercial or industrial applications that require human-machine
interface. Selector switches, pushbuttons or push button switches, pilot lights, signal beacons, and
toggle switches are examples of these. Pilot devices are classified into two types based on their designs:
indication devices and actuation devices. Furthermore, some devices provide both indication and
actuation (ex: illuminated pushbuttons). These devices, which are typically used as part of a system,
automated process, or control panel, provide information on the condition and control monitoring of
various types of processes, machinery, and equipment.
