ABB manufactures our robust portfolio of highly efficient motors, suitable for a wide
range of applications; this selection of motors includes both induction and synchronous
reluctance motors and are available in varying sizes and power ratings to meet the
requirements of different applications.

General Performance Motors

Specifically manufactured for applications such as
pumps, vans and conveyors, General Performance
Motors were designed for maximum convenience and
easy handling. This cost-effective induction motor
generates an output power of 0.18kW to 355kW. With
IE3 premium efficiency, these motors are highly energy
efficient.

Heavy Industrial & Mining Motors

Designed and manufactured for high-intensity and
demanding industries, these motors are built with
an IP66 standard protection rating to withstand
harsh environments and generate a power output of
0.12 to 1000kW to handle heavy loads and increase
productivity.

Process Performance Motors

Process performance motors are tough and
high-quality products designed for durability
in versatile process industries and heavy-duty
applications, where reliability and efficiency are vital.
Built from cast iron with an IP55 standard protection
rating, these motors generate an outpower of 0.12 to
1000KW.

Explosion-Proof & Other Induction Motors

These explosion-proof motors are designed to operate
safely in hazardous environments with a risk of
explosion due to flammable gases, vapours, or dust.
These motors are manufactured to prevent sparks or
arcs from occurring, which could ignite the surrounding
atmosphere.
