The ABB Universal Motor Controller from
IPD is a versatile and advanced intelligent
motor management system for single and
three-phase motors. It has a user-friendly
interface and robust design. Ensuring
reliable and efficient operations through
its compact housing with integrated
current transformer (0.24 – 63A) for cable
cross sections up to 25mm2 (max Ø with
insulation 11mm). Higher currents with an
additional external current transformer.
Thermal overload protection according to
EN/IEC 60947-4-1, selectable trip classes
5E, 10E, 20E, 30E, 40E.

STARTERS

The ABB Manual motor starters are often
referred to as motor protection circuit
breakers or manual motor protectors;
these electromechanical protective
devices offer protection for the main circuit
and are predominantly used to switch
motors ON/OFF manually to provide fireless
protection against short-circuit, overload
and phase failures.

Available in 3 poles, the ABB manual motor
starters are up to 15kW (400V) and 32A,
with a built-in disconnect function and
a rotary hand operator, and additionally
some models are available with push-in
spring terminals offering unique, reliable,
fast and easy connections which eliminate
routine re-tightening.
