Telescopic Lightning Protection Mast with Screw Foundation
Air-termination mast for protecting special facilities such as biogas plants and free field PV systems against direct lightning strikes.
The masts are erected in a screw foundation.
No digging or foundation work necessary.
The screw foundation is screwed into the natural ground and fixed in place by three earth rods Ø20 mm, length 1500 mm (Part No. 620
151). These must be ordered separately.
The air-termination masts are designed according to Eurocode.

These calculations are based on a natural ground pressure of 0.02 kN/cm (e.g. loamy, sandy, gravelly soil of medium density).

Air-termination mast for protecting special facilities such as biogas plants, free field PV systems, Ex systems and ammunition dumps against
direct lightning strikes. The masts are erected in a bucket foundation (pre-fabricated) or an on-site concrete foundation with foundation basket

Advantages of the air-termination mast system:
• Excavation work can be completed in advance
• Erection in (prefabricated) bucket foundation on site with comparatively little effort, or
• Erection in on-site concrete foundations with foundation basket (concrete curing time to be observed for scheduling and erection)
• With flange plate for fast mounting
• Easily adjustable with M24 threaded bolts
• Detailed mounting instructions
• Verifiable statics (upon request)

• Air-termination rod, St/tZn, Ø42 / 20 / 10 mm, length 2400 or 5400 mm, with M20 thread and lock nut
• Conic mast segments
• Flange plate with connection lug for earth connection hole Ø12 mm (for round conductor Ø10 mm, e.g. with KS connector (Part No. 301 019))
