Pipe Clamp for Air-Termination Rods

For fixing as well as lightning current carrying contact of the air-termination rod, e.g. on metal substructures of photovoltaic (PV) installations
(square hollow profile); typically installed on steel frame or reinforced concrete structures. When mounted on pipes, the pressure plate (flat
plate 2x angled) has to be removed. Two pipe clamps have to be installed on each air-termination rod.
The maximum free length of the respective air-termination rod according to the wind load must be considered for installation.

Angled Air-Termination Tips
For protecting, e.g. free field photovoltaic systems or carports with a PV system against direct lightning strikes.
A distance of 15-20 cm between the seam clamps and the free length of 80-85 cm should be ensured.
The air-termination tip is adjustable to the inclination angle of the PV system. The standard type is 55° angled which corresponds to a PV
system inclination of 35°.
