Special features of the switchable voltage detector:
The selector switch can be moved into three positions for the relevant voltage and frequency ranges:
3 ... 10 kV / 50 Hz – three-phase systems
6 ... 20 kV / 50 Hz – three-phase systems
6 ... 20 kV / 16.7 Hz – single-ended monophase systems
For safety reasons, the detector can only be switched on if the selector switch is switched to the most sensitive range of 3 kV to 10 kV /
50 Hz. The switch snaps into the relevant position and provides protection against accidental switching. A magnetically operated, wear-re-
sistant reed switch changes the switching position.
