SECONDARY GRID PROTECTION - ASSEMBLED SYSTEMS

Standard requirements
When making an application to connect solar photovoltaic systems (if your system
is above 30kW three phases or 10kW single phase), the Distribution Network Service
Provider (DNSP) will insist on secondary protection to be provided. This will be in addition
to the in-built protection offered by AS 4777 compliant inverters. They will insist that the
protection relay shall be certified. IPD offers you a complete range of Anti-islanding
Relays and Fully assembled Grid protection systems. Our complete product range
complies with the latest AS/NZS 4777 standards.

In addition to the requirements of AS 4777 switchboards need to be tested to and
compliant with the requirements of AS 61439 for current ratings above 125A. IPD’s
Evolution boards have been tested to cover design verifications.

Type: Secondary Protection + AC Control
Fully assembled systems including protection relay, MCCB and AC contactor control.
The ABB CM-UFD.M33 has been approved by local Australian Utility sector to provide
secondary grid protection meeting the requirements of AS 4777.

Fully assembled systems including MCCB, AC contactor control and AC combiner
section. Three versions available ABB CM-UFD.M33 protection relay, ComAp MainsPro
relay, both system voltage based for full export. Also included is an InteliProPV relay
system for export limitation.
