                                    Line Coupler, MDRC
                                    The line coupler is used in larger installations to connect KNX lines or areas. The lines or
                                    areas are galvanically isolated from one another. Telegrams can be filtered to simultaneously
                                    reduce the telegram traffic between lines or areas. With ETS 4 (V4.1.2 and higher) the com-
                                    plete group address range of the main groups 0...31 can be filtered. Within a line, the
                                    LK/S 4.2 can also be used as a line amplifier (repeater).

                                    IP Router Secure, MDRC
                                    Connects the KNX bus with the Ethernet network and encrypts communication on the
                                    IP backbone. The device uses the KNXnet/IP Secure protocol for communication (Routing
                                    and Tunneling). It can be used as a fast line and area coupler. The full filter table for main
                                    groups 0-31 is supported. KNX devices can be programmed via the LAN using ETS. For this
                                    and further clients 5 Secure Tunneling Servers are available. The IP address can be fixed or
                                    can be received from a DHCP server. Power supply via 12…30 V DC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af
                                    class 1). The KNX Standard Communication (Multicast) can be switched off. In this case,

                                    up to 10 IPR/S 3.5.1 can communicate using unicast communication.
