BLITZDUCTOR XTU arresters are pluggable, multipole and universal DIN
rail mounted lightning current and surge arresters for the protection of
measuring and control circuits, bus systems and telecommunication sys-
tems in which high levels of availability are essential. For effective pro- 2'4' 1'3'
tection of terminal equipment against lightning effects and surges, BLITZ-
DUCTOR XTU arresters combine the permanently high impulse current

discharge capacity of a lightning current arrester with the low voltage
protection level of a surge arrester which is optimally adjusted to the 1 3

LifeCheck allows easy and fast testing of SPDs without removing the
module from the system circuit. Integrated into the SPD modules,
LifeCheck permanently monitors the proper condition of the SPD and acts
