Shunt opening and shunt closing releases - YO/YC
Enable the remote control of the circuit-breaker. Opening is always possible, while closing is available only
for XT7 M when the closing springs of the operating mechanism are loaded and the circuit-breaker is
ready to close. The releases operate with a 100ms minimum impulse current and can operate in perma-
nent service. In this case, if the opening command is given by the opening release, the circuit-breaker can
be closed de-energizing the opening release and controlling the closing after at least 30 ms.
A second opening release is alternative to an undervoltage release.
