THE PROTECTION OPTIONS

1. Select the protection appropriate to the installations DNSP. 5. Mount the protection cubicle and combiner box where required. PHOTOVOLTAIC

2. Determine switching capacity required from 5 predetermined sizes or give
IPD your specification.

3. Determine the appropriate AC combiner box for all your inverters.
(Standard Arrangement PVAC61, for 6 x 3phase inverters with 250A total)

6. Wire from inverter to combiner box.

7. Wire from protection cubicle to Main switchboard.

8. Input set points for protection as agreed with the DNSP.

4. Order parts from IPD, ask IPD about prewiring and joining of enclosures.

9. Carry out site acceptance testing with DNSP as per their
requirements.
