S800 range features

Extra safe: Fire protection acc. to NF F 16-101 and NF F 16-102 (prEN45545-2)
The S800 high performance MCB provides standard compliance to the requirements of
Standard prEN45545-2 (Railway applications – Fire Protection on railway vehicles – Part 2:
Requirements for fire behaviour of materials and components). This standard is based on
the French standard NF F 16-101/ NF F 16-102 and makes new requirements of the fire
behaviour of the materials used. The main focus of attention with relation to fire protection
is on the following:
• Flame spread
• Rate of heat release
• Smoke development
• Toxicity

The S800 high performance automatic meets the following
classification compliant to NF F 16-101 and NF F 16-102:
• I3F2
• I3 no permanent flame at 850°C
• F2 index of fume density and toxicity ≤ 40
